Reoccupancy Update
Some tenants – and especially those who moved their contents off-site – have recently expressed concerns that the three-hour, designated “move-in” window may not be enough time for them to move their belongings back home.
We understand your worries, but are confident that the re-occupancy protocol as announced is the safest, most efficient and fairest approach to welcoming everyone home.
The three-hour, scheduled window is the time set aside specifically for you and provides dedicated elevator access to allow for the move of your largest household items and furnishings. However, after this reserved time slot, you will have full access to your units and unlimited opportunity to continue your personal return process and the return of your contents, by using one of the three, unreserved passenger elevators.
The move-in protocol has been designed for the efficiency and safety of your return. It was also designed to ensure the building is re-occupied in as speedy a process as possible. If each unit was provided with a full day of dedicated access, as some residents are requesting, then tenants on the lower floors would have to wait almost two more years to return home.
You have been patiently awaiting the building’s re-occupancy. Getting everyone home, as quickly as possible, still requires patience, and it also requires your cooperation.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
