For more than a year now, I’ve watched my beautiful wife transform into the kind of real estate agent that everyone truly deserves. ✅ If you guessed B, then you’re correct! There was not enough insulation in their attic.

Warm air from heating their home in the winter is escaping to their attic causing the snow to melt and freeze as icicles when they get closer to the edge of the roof.

Higher heating costs are only one problem here, these ice dams created in the roof will damage the roof overtime as the ice expands under the shingles and creates costly repairs down the road too.

Icicles may be pretty, but they are sadly a sign of potential damage to your home as well.

Hanging icicles often mean your gutters are clogged with debris.

When water can’t drain properly, it backs up, freezes, and puts stress on your:
- Eaves
- Fascia
- Roof edges

A damaged cord is a major fire hazard.

Here’s why:
Exposed wires = sparks
Sparks + dust/carpet = ignition

If the cord is damaged… toss it. A $20 replacement is A LOT cheaper than a house fire.
