The Company
Summit Appraisal & Consulting Ltd is a real estate appraisal firm servicing the West Kootenay and Boundary regions of British Columbia. Our focus is on providing quality residential and commercial property valuation and consulting services.

The Candidate Appraiser responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting properties (with supervision as needed) throughout the West Kootenay and Boundary Regions;
- Conducting research on market trends, sales, and leasing activity;
- Developing a database of comparable commercial sales;
- Writing professional appraisal reports (under guidance from senior appraisers);
- Scheduling and various administrative tasks (as needed).

Qualifications
- MUST HAVE a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in business with a specialization in real estate);
- Candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (or willing to become one);
- Interested in pursuing a CRA or AACI designation;
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, and willing to learn appraisal software);
- Acts with a high degree of professionalism and integrity;
- Willing to learn and be mentored by senior appraisers;
- A valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle.
