The worst real estate advice sounds right until it costs you money.

I hear the same myths every week. From clients, from DMs, from people repeating something they read online without checking if it actually held up.

Some of these are harmless. Others have cost people tens of thousands or set their plans back by months.

I’d rather be the agent who gives you the honest answer now than the one who stays quiet and lets you learn it the hard way.

This sale holds a special place because it was my client’s first home purchase. She built a life here, and over the last couple of years opened it up as a rental before deciding it was time to move on. Six years in the real estate market and she is walking away with equity in her pocket which is something to be incredibly proud of. 👏🏻
