25 years later, we remember.

On September 11, 2001, Keating Crown, Managing Principal at Sterling Bay, was one of 18 people who survived from above the South Tower’s impact zone.

That experience continues to inform his commitment to safety and resilience across Sterling Bay’s portfolio, as well as his service on the Board of Trustees of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

As we mark 25 years, we remember those we lost and reflect on the importance of carrying their stories and lessons forward.

We kept this 16-story architectural classic and transformed the first five floors into a creative office space unlike anything else in Portland, rebuilding everything around it.

The Meier & Frank Building was originally Macy’s flagship for over a century, making it one of Portland’s most recognizable historic landmarks.
