Everyone assumes Burnaby wins because of the SkyTrain. 🥊

That’s not the full story.

I’m breaking it down like a boxing match — round by round, real numbers only. And Burnaby does take it… just not for the reason most people think.

Burnaby or New Westminster? Both on the SkyTrain, both close to Vancouver, both look almost the same on paper. They’re not.

!! Cosas que les digo a mis compradores que revisen durante una visita (lo que muchos dejan pasar por alto)

1. ¿Funciona tu teléfono dentro de la casa? Si no funciona ahora, hay pocas probabilidades de que funcione… después podrías tener que resolver algo con la señal.

2. Abre más de un grifo a la vez y descarga los sanitarios. Si la presión del agua es baja, las duchas no van a tener fuerza, y el flush tampoco va a descargar bien.

3. Abre todas las llaves y huele el agua. Un olor raro puede indicar problemas con la tubería.

4. Escucha si se oye el “flush” en el piso de abajo. Si la casa tiene dos pisos, esto te dice qué tan bien está insonorizada.

5. Huele la casa cuando todo está cerrado, incluyendo los baños que casi no se usan. Ahí es donde los problemas y los malos olores aparecen primero.

6. ¿Se siente la casa caliente o fría en diferentes cuartos? Eso te dice qué tan cómoda será realmente durante todo el año.

7. ¿En qué momento del día pega el sol en cada cuarto? La luz natural cambia cómo se siente la casa a lo largo del día.

8. ¿Las puertas y ventanas abren y cierran fácil? Si se atascan ahora, van a seguir atascándose después. Anótalo para negociar reparaciones.

9. Detente y escucha por un momento. Ruido de la calle, vecinos, perros… si lo escuchas hoy, lo vas a escuchar frecuentemente.

10. Camina por la casa y fíjate cómo te sientes, tanto adentro como al momento de irte. Si algo se siente raro, confía en eso. Y si se siente excelente, esa también es una buena señal. ✨
