Inventory? What’s the story? February saw lower than average sales than the 10-year average, not surprising given how interest rates have affected home prices. Sellers are reluctant to list and supply is low for buyers who are trying to take advantage of properties at their current “discounted” price point.

Bottom line - sellers need to let go of pricing from last year and buyers need to get off the fence. The bottom has come and gone and with limited inventory, these “discounts” are disappearing as confidence is returning. With projections for inflation heading in the right direction and interest rates levelling off, the busy spring market will be upon us in no time!
