Dear friends,

Tomorrow night, I’ll be taking part in the Sleep Out in support of Covenant House Vancouver.

Sleep Out means spending one cold night on the street — in solidarity with youth who face many more nights without safe shelter — until they are able to find safety, support, and hope through the doors of Covenant House.

I’m truly grateful for the encouragement and generosity I’ve received so far. For those who may still wish to support, donations are being matched dollar-for-dollar by Vancouver International Airport (YVR), up to $50,000, through tomorrow night, meaning every contribution goes twice as far.

If this is something you feel moved to support, I’d really appreciate it. And if not, thank you just as much for taking the time to read and for being part of my community.

About to start my 5 day silent meditation retreat to begin a year anew.

No cellphone, no talking, no reading and no listening to music. Just staying with my body and being mindful :)

Wishing everyone a happy new year!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been receiving the sweetest surprises, and finally sat down to photograph them properly. ❤️

✨ A friend brought back hand-wrapped Guatemalan dark chocolate (with the cutest worry doll).
✨ A client returned from Barcelona with local treats + a colourful magnet.
✨ My neighbour & daily walking buddy came home from Japan with matcha drinks and a handmade fabric box.

Three gifts, from three continents.
All sending the same message: “I thought of you.”

It reminded me of something I’ve always believed:
Gift-giving is a love language.
It’s not the item, it’s the intention, the remembering, the connection.

In real estate, and in life, relationships grow through these small moments of kindness. The gestures that say:
“I see you.”
“I appreciate you.”
“You matter to me.”

Feeling very held by my community. ❤️
Here’s to connection in all its beautiful forms.

❤️

Confession:
I LOVE hugs. Like… really love them.

And guess what? Science is on my side!
Research shows that if a hug lasts around 20 seconds, your body starts releasing serotonin, the “feel-good” hormone that boosts mood, lowers stress, and makes life just a little softer.

This photo was taken at my Holiday Pie Party, and honestly, it captures one of my favourite moments of the day. Warm hugs, warm hearts… and warm pie skirts. 🥧✨

So here’s my unofficial announcement:
If you see me in person, hugs are absolutely welcome.
Think of it as a free serotonin top-up: professionally friendly, personally joyful.

Let’s make 2026 the year of more connection, more kindness… and yes, more hugs. 🤗💛

A couple of weeks ago, I came across a LinkedIn post from Ronan Deane about his participation in the Sleep Out: Executive Edition supporting Covenant House Vancouver. I commented at the time, feeling inspired by his commitment.

Fast forward to Thursday and I ended up meeting Ronan in person at the December Business Breakfast hosted by the Consulate General of Ireland, Vancouver. Such a small world!

Ronan delivered an insightful talk on work, sport, and Irish identity, weaving leadership, community, and culture together in a way that really resonated.

It’s always powerful to see people leading both professionally and through meaningful causes. His participation in November’s Sleep Out is a reminder of the impact we can make when we show up.

I’ll be taking part in the February 2026 Sleep Out myself, and meeting Ronan added an extra layer of motivation and connection to that journey.

(And yes, I did show up in a holiday pie outfit 🥧. Bringing a little extra seasonal cheer never hurts!)

Grateful for this community and for the moments when online inspiration turns into real-life connection.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing client relationships grow into meaningful connections. This year, I had the joy of helping Sabrina purchase her new home, and our journey continued well beyond the keys.

Sabrina, an expressive arts therapist and creative coach, later invited me to a beautiful night at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and recently joined my Holiday Pie Party (where someone guessed I was dressed as a pepperoni pizza… still not over it 😂🍕🥧).

I was also lucky to win six one-on-one creative coaching sessions with her, and I’m truly excited to start this journey in the new year. Her work at Firepot Expressive Arts supports people in reconnecting with creativity, self-expression, and emotional grounding - something I know many of us could use more of.

If anyone is looking to explore expressive arts therapy or creative coaching, I highly recommend checking out her work at Firepot Expressive Arts.

Grateful for clients who become collaborators, for community that continues to grow, and for opportunities to keep learning and expanding in 2026. ✨

We had the sweetest Holiday Pie Party at Oakwyn Realty Northwest this past Saturday, complete with treats, laughter, and a whole lot of festive cheer.

I might have been the only one who dressed up this year, but someone had to bring the pie energy to a pie party! 😄
(And yes… the skirt is a lattice crust. 💁🏻‍♀️)

Grateful for a workplace that celebrates community, creativity, and connection.
Here’s to a season filled with joy, good company, and sweet moments. ❤️

I’m grateful to share that I’ve been accepted into the 5-day meditation retreat led by David Listen this December.

It’s a full-immersion practice - sitting, walking, moving meditation, mindful yoga, Dharma talks - held at Dharma Drum Vancouver Centre from Dec 28 to Jan 1.

If you’ve been wanting to deepen your practice or start the new year with clarity and spaciousness, registration is open.

May we all begin the new year with a fresh mind and an open heart. ✨

Yesterday’s 300th episode celebration of the Podcast was such an inspiring midday boost. ✨

Huge congratulations to .uy and reaching this milestone. Your leadership, vision, and consistency have built something truly meaningful for all of us, and continue to push our community to grow with intention and heart.

It was also a great opportunity to mingle with so many fellow Oakwyn Realty agents. I always leave these gatherings feeling energized and grateful to be part of such a supportive and driven community.

A big thank you to for providing the stunning venue. The space was beautiful and the cake was very delicious! 🎂

Here’s to 300 episodes, and many more conversations that elevate our industry ❤️

I had such a fun time exploring the Eastside Culture Crawl last weekend. Walking through open studios and seeing so many forms of creativity - painting, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, photography, and everything in between - reminded me how much richness lives in our city when people express themselves authentically.

There’s something powerful about stepping into an artist’s workspace, hearing their story, and witnessing the passion behind each piece. It’s a joy to slow down, wander, and let art spark curiosity and inspiration.

One of the highlights was visiting Norah’s studio and seeing her beautiful crow series up close. Her work is full of story and spirit ❤️

Moments like these remind me why I love being part of this city: the creativity, the courage to express, and the connections we get to make along the way.

Always grateful for the inspiration that art brings into both my personal life and my work as a realtor, because creativity and human connection are at the heart of what I do.
