Buyers have moved off the sidelines and made a swift return to the real estate market following the Bank of Canada's consecutive decisions to hold lending rates, especially in the three major urban centres where home prices are expected to appreciate this year. In Q4 of 2023, the aggregate price of a home in the greater regions of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are forecast to rise 7.5%, 3.0% and 2.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Inventory in these regions remains extremely low, putting upward pressure on prices. 🏠🇨🇦
