We’ve officially topped off at East Columbia + Strand! Offering 99 rental homes, including studios, 1, 2, and 3-bedrooms, and retail and office space.

This milestone marks the completion of the building’s structural frame — the final concrete pour is done, all major structural pieces are in place, and the project has reached its highest point.

Get to know Thomas Rowe, Development Manager:

What drew you to join Third Space?
I was drawn to the focus on building and holding rental in Vancouver long-term. Combined with the triple bottom line approach, it felt like a team thinking differently about development. It’s been rewarding to see that play out day-to-day.

What’s something you’re enjoying in your role?
Being involved in the full lifecycle of a project. Because we build to hold, we can apply learnings from one project to the next, we’re already seeing that with Fourth + Mac. The team is also really integrated, making it easy to adapt and improve.

Can you describe your role?
You’re involved in a bit of everything, helping move projects forward at every stage. No two days are the same, one day it’s policy, the next it’s working with interior design. It keeps things challenging and engaging.

What do you love most about living in Vancouver?
How easy it is to get outside, hiking, biking, or just walking the trails. It’s hard to beat having that so close to the city.

After two weeks of suspicion, secret alliances, dramatic banishments… and a few well-timed eliminations, the truth is finally revealed.

For two weeks, the Third Space team stepped into the game — trying to uncover who were Faithfuls and who were Traitors.

Alliances were formed, then broken.
The Teams chat was full of theories, accusations, and last-minute twists.

In the end, three Faithfuls made it to the final round — only to be deceived by one final Traitor.

The stakes? One extra day of vacation.
The outcome? Something bigger.

Season 1 brought a new kind of energy to the office — more laughter, new connections across teams, and a buzz you could feel day to day.

Already looking forward to next season.
