I made time and had the privilege to listen in the last Special Parks Board meeting held last week. It is looking positive for Vancouver community planning. Here are the main points from it.

This shows the original parks board budget but the amended budget looks upgraded for new community centres for Britannia, Hastings, Kensington, and Renfrew is on the priority list. We already have construction fencing around Kensington Community Centre so hopefully it pushes through sooner. This is capital funding plans for 2027-2030.
