MARKET UPDATE: APRIL 2022
HOME BUYER DEMAND RETURNING TO MORE TYPICAL LEVELS. The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 3,232 in April 2022, a 34.1 % decrease from the 4,908 sales recorded in April 2021, and a 25.6% decrease from the 4,344 homes sold in March 2022.
FRASER VALLEY SALES DIP BELOW 10-YEAR AVERAGE FOR FIRST TIME IN NEARLY 2 YEARS. In April, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) processed 1,637 sales on its Multiple Listing Serviceยฎ (MLSยฎ), a decrease of 45.7% compared to April 2021 and a 36.6% decrease compared to March 2022.
