Some real estate stories are about finding the perfect home. Others are about navigating a season of life you never expected.
This wonderful family went through an incredibly difficult period that meant making some very big decisions in a short amount of time. They had purchased their home in a hot market, poured their hearts into completely renovating it, and then circumstances changed and they found themselves needing to sell.
Through all of it, they handled everything with such grace. No complaining. No bitterness. Just kindness, patience and a focus on doing what was best for their family.
Thankfully, we were able to help them make the transition into a townhouse nearby, which meant they could stay in the neighbourhood they already knew and loved. ❤️
Sometimes our job is about so much more than buying and selling houses. It’s about helping people move through challenging moments and hopefully making the process just a little easier along the way.

🎸 He traded tenants, repairs and city stress… for guitars, Island life and a much slower beat. 🌴🎶
After more than 20 years of owning his three-suite character home, W was ready for a change.
This house was his pride and joy. He lived in one suite, rented out the other two, and over the years put a LOT of blood, sweat, tears… and probably a few choice words 😅 into maintaining and improving it.
For years, he talked about moving to the Island.
Less stress. Less responsibility. More music. 🎸
The only problem? The right property never came along.
Until one day… it did.
W bought his Island home and suddenly the dream became very real.
Now he had to tackle the BIG job of getting 20+ years of life in his Vancouver property ready for sale.
We made a plan.
Then W got to work.
Cleaning. Fixing. Gardening. Purging. Repairing. More cleaning. More fixing. 😂
He followed our advice, did everything he could to make the property shine and trusted the process.
And it worked. 🙌
We launched the property, created strong interest, received MULTIPLE OFFERS and sold it OVER ASKING! 🥂💥
All that hard work paid off.
Today, W is officially living his next chapter on the Island — relaxed, happy and spending a whole lot more time making music instead of fixing houses. 🎶🌊
From landlord life to Island life.

And just like that, they became homeowners 🥹

We met Vaishak and Morgane earlier this spring. They had been renting for awhile and was ready to take that next step into homeownership.

They did everything right—
✅secure and steady jobs
✅saved money
✅connected with lender
✅gave themselves plenty of time before their lease was up to begin their home search.

With all of that in place we began looking. We actually found a home pretty early on in our tours and they submitted an offer — only to be outbid in the end. It was a GREAT home, but little did we know there was something better out there…

Discouraged, we looked at many more homes—comparing them all to that “one” and none quite hit the mark, missing certain things that were must haves.

Until this one came on the market. It was in the same building as the one they missed out on but it was a corner unit and it was cheaper! We toured it as soon as it hit the market and made an offer soon after. Terms that would entice a seller to accept on their first day and make it theirs. It was SO PERFECT and we couldn’t let this one get away.

60 days later, here we are 🥹 passing the keys over to them into a home that feels like it was designed just for them

Event Date: June 13
Event Time: 10am - 2pm
A free community-wide yard sale in East Mount Pleasant/Cedar Cottage neighbourhoods
You can set up a sale in your yard, garage, in the lane, on the sidewalk or at your neighbour’s house. We take care of all advertising and promotion of the event as well as set up all signage on the day of the event to make sure your sale gets MAX exposure!
We make maps of all the sale locations and shoppers walk around the neighbourhood and visit as many as they can.
After the day’s events, drop off any items that did not sell and that you want to donate to charity.
Our last sale had over 90 homes/locations were registered.
To Qualify: Your home must be located between Guelph Street and Clark Avenue and East 10th Avenue and Kingsway.

Some real estate stories stay with you forever. ❤️
A little while ago, a sweet woman called us out of the blue after finding us on Google. She had lived in her beloved character home in Cedar Cottage for over 40 years — a home she and her ex-husband bought together back in the 80s. Since then, life had changed. She had been living there alone for many years, caring for a home that was slowly falling down around her while she continued working as a nurse and thinking about retirement.
When we first met her, we could feel how overwhelmed she was by such a huge life transition. We sat at her kitchen table, asked lots of questions, listened carefully, and guided her through every step. And the most special part? She trusted us completely. We felt it. ✨
