The countdown is on..... 12 days until our 12th Annual Community Yard Sale.
Event Date: June 13
Event Time: 10am - 2pm
A free community-wide yard sale in East Mount Pleasant/Cedar Cottage neighbourhoods
You can set up a sale in your yard, garage, in the lane, on the sidewalk or at your neighbour’s house. We take care of all advertising and promotion of the event as well as set up all signage on the day of the event to make sure your sale gets MAX exposure!
We make maps of all the sale locations and shoppers walk around the neighbourhood and visit as many as they can.
After the day’s events, drop off any items that did not sell and that you want to donate to charity.
Our last sale had over 90 homes/locations were registered.
To Qualify: Your home must be located between Guelph Street and Clark Avenue and East 10th Avenue and Kingsway.

Some real estate stories stay with you forever. ❤️
A little while ago, a sweet woman called us out of the blue after finding us on Google. She had lived in her beloved character home in Cedar Cottage for over 40 years — a home she and her ex-husband bought together back in the 80s. Since then, life had changed. She had been living there alone for many years, caring for a home that was slowly falling down around her while she continued working as a nurse and thinking about retirement.
When we first met her, we could feel how overwhelmed she was by such a huge life transition. We sat at her kitchen table, asked lots of questions, listened carefully, and guided her through every step. And the most special part? She trusted us completely. We felt it. ✨
We got her home on the market and it sold right away. Then the search began for her next chapter — something comfortable, affordable, and still in East Van, the community she loved so much.
We saw a few places that just didn’t feel right… and then an off-market opportunity came along that we instantly knew was meant for her. The seller was wonderful too, and everything just clicked into place. We quickly came to an agreement, and the seller even included some beautiful furniture that suited the home perfectly.
