Every year, we gather on the Downtown East Side to share hot meals with our community. 🤍
Something so simple, something many of us take for granted — food. A basic need. A human right.

This day is about more than giving back. It’s about remembering. Honouring someone we loved deeply, who is no longer with us, but whose generosity, kindness, and open heart continue to guide us. Their belief was simple: everyone deserves warmth, dignity, and a full plate.

We come together in their name, carrying their spirit forward one meal, one conversation, one moment of connection at a time. May we never forget how powerful compassion can be, and how much good exists when we choose to share what we have.

Food should never be a privilege — it should be accessible to everyone.

Why home inspections matter 🏠🔍

“Looked solid during the showing… until the roof sagged, the walls split, and the entire addition slid off the foundation.”

This gingerbread home passed the sniff test but failed the structural integrity test.
A proper inspection would’ve caught:
• Load-bearing walls made of wishes
• Icing used as structural adhesive
• A roof one gumdrop away from total collapse

Moral of the story:
Whether it’s gingerbread or real estate, pretty on the outside doesn’t mean safe on the inside.
Get the inspection. Before your house turns into a holiday-themed cautionary tale. 🎄😄
