Why don't our politicians take some actions and read this article! Supply and demand - and if they really want to do something about our housing situation - increase supply - and do it quickly - not 5 years to work through the zoning/rezoning/public consultation/planning process - When you walk through the doors of city hall you are greeted with "What roadblocks can we place in front of you so that your development takes years and costs the end user 25% more due to the additional development charges" Rather than "How can we make your life easy and increase much needed housing - here is what we can do for you".
Or is this too simple?
