What a sweet way to wrap up the week!

Key day is always exciting , but this key day is just a little extra special 🗝️♥️

Today is the key day for a wonderful home that I sold in North Vancouver to a lovely young couple who are excited to begin the next chapter of their lives there — to grow their family, create memories, and make the house their own.

Last Friday, I returned to the home to meet the buyers & contractors. While we were waiting, we noticed a loose wooden board. We turned it over & there it was -
A handwritten note, dated 1990 📜🖋️

“Mark & Rhonda - 1990 Renovations”

Whoever sees this: Between the Sweat & Tears, there has been a joy in being able to create & design to this room. Please enjoy!” ❤️

Next the message, they had left a lucky penny.
They had no idea who would eventually find their message.They simply hoped that someone, someday, would enjoy what they had created.
…..36 years later, someone did 🤍

And now, a new couple will write their own chapter here.

There will be new footsteps 👣in the hallway.
New laughter, perhaps little hands one day.
Hard days, wonderful days & countless memories that haven’t happened yet.
That, to me, is one of the most beautiful things about a home. This is why I have always believed that my work is about more than buying and selling houses.
