There’s a part of job searching that doesn’t fit into advice like “just keep applying,” it’s the cold walk when the bus never comes, the interview that moves locations, and the courage it takes to still show up.
What we learned from Afeez’s story is simple, connection is not a bonus in Canada, it’s a bridge. One Roof for All is how we keep building that bridge through housing support and real community, so newcomers and students can stop feeling alone in the process.
