Massive changes are coming to the Richmond Night Market space.

The International Plaza at Duck Island, planned for over a decade, has a revised concept that Richmond City Council has unanimously approved. The market will move indoors, likely becoming a year-round attraction with some outdoor areas.

This commercial project includes:
- 1.32 million square feet of hotel space
- 910,000 square feet of office and institutional space
- 540,000 square feet of entertainment venues
- 622,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

A proposed development date is still in the works, aiming to create a vibrant destination for tourists and the regional community.

The False Creek Farmers Market is now even closer!

With False Creek Farmers Market opening tomorrow, we will have all seven markets open for the summer season of 2023. There's a slight change in the location of False Creek Farmers Market. It is now at Creekside Park and not at the Concord Pacific Place. So, walk down the beautiful seawall and enjoy the fresh and local products along with the breezy summer evening.

Volunteers and scientists are in the midst of a six-day "bio blitz" in Vancouver's False Creek, collecting water samples as an initial step toward cleaning up the inlet between Science World and English Bay.
