Are home sales finally slowing down ?
show home sales decreased 34% in April and 26% compared to the previous month.
However, the latest sales were still 1.5 % above the 10-year April sales average.
Spring home sales have eased down from the record-breaking pace compared to last year. Meaning we may be heading back to the traditional home purchase style with subject condition clauses back in placeβfor example, home inspections, financing, and additional due diligence. All those conditions are necessary for buyers.
Benchmark price for all residential homes in Vancouver - $1,374,500.
Benchmark price by type of home:
Detached - $2,139,200.
Duplex/Townhouse - $1,150,500
Condo - $844,700
