The Minister of Finance has provided consent to adopt a new set of capital rules that will help ensure B.C. credit unions remain strong, stable, and able to support their members through changing economic conditions.

The new Credit Union Capital Requirements Rules introduce a modern framework that strengthens risk management and supports confidence in the system.
