JULY MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

Home prices across all home types in Metro VancouveR rose again in July, as strong sales figures continue to push up against low levels of housing inventory in the region.

Here’s a little breakdown:

- July sales were down 15.6% from the 10-year average for the month
- There were 17% more homes listed than the previous year
- The benchmark price for a home in Metro Vancouver was $1,210,700

JUNE MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

Continuing the trend that has emerged in the housing market this year, the benchmark price for all home types in Metro Vancouver increased in June as home buyer demand butted up against a limited inventory of homes for sale in the region.

Here’s a little breakdown:

- June sales were down 8.6% from the 10-year average for the month.
- There were 1.3% more homes listed than the previous year.
- The benchmark price for a home in Metro Vancouver was $1,203,000
