If you want long-term clients in real estate, this matters more than most people realize👇

Getting the deal done is important, but the experience is usually what clients remember most.

The small details, communication, trust, and how people feel throughout the process matter far more than people think.

Long-term business is rarely built from one transaction. It is built from relationships people actually want to come back to.

That is usually where the best referrals come from.

Not your ordinary May...

I learned three things this month:

1. Don’t let a temporary problem define the rest of your day
2. Retail therapy is good for the soul
3. I’m allowed to have a day off

With that said, it’s been an exceptionally busy month. Looking back at January, it was a slow market paired with lots of uncertainty. May brought $22M of listing inventory!

Tides can change in an instant. Always be optimistic, persistent and good things will come.

What’s one lesson life taught you last month? Share with me below.

Why are real estate teams exploding right now?

10 to 15 years ago, most agents worked on their own. Teams were barely a thing.

Now the market is tougher, there are fewer deals, and a lot of newer agents can’t really do it all alone anymore.

There’s also way more paperwork and systems than before.

That’s why more agents are joining teams for structure, support and consistency in a tougher market.

People think a slow market is a bad time…

But 2008, 2009 and even the start of COVID looked exactly like that.

Every time there’s been a slowdown, buyers hesitate. But looking back, those were often the moments people made the most money.

We’re not always right about timing the market. But when things slow down, it usually means opportunity, not risk.

Eventually, it goes up.

They said women belonged in the kitchen…

So I learned to build something from it.

Showings, clients, negotiations, closing homes.

Just doing it my way.
