Her business acumen bloomed early when, at the age of four, she told her father in an open house to “ask for a cookie” as an add-on from a potential buyer. Always taking the direct approach, it came as a bit of a shock to everyone (except possibly Robin herself) when she detoured from real estate and decided to pursue a career in finance rather than follow her father into the family business. nearly a decade and a half, Robin oversaw her clients’ wealth portfolios and learned how to play well with other Investment Advisors. Growing up in a large family, she learned early on how to speak directly, mediate almost any situation and negotiate in such a way that everyone wins. Luckily, it also taught her how to eat crow.
