🏡 MAY 2024''s Metro Vancouver Real Estate Update 🏡

Here's a short + sweet update as I'm not sure who really reads the detailed market updates :)

📉 Home sales dropped in May 2024, with 2,733 homes sold, down 19.9% from May 2023.

🏠 Inventory on the rise: 13,600 homes listed, up 46.3% from last year.

📈 Benchmark prices:

Detached: $2,063,400 (+5.9% YoY)
Apartment: $776,200 (+2.2% YoY)
Townhouse: $1,145,600 (+5.2% YoY)
With rising inventory and softer sales, price growth is slowing. Buyers might find more opportunities this summer! ☀️
