Listen. Learn. Remember.
Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and take time to honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never returned home.
This day calls on us to acknowledge the painful truths of Canada’s residential school system and the lasting impacts it continues to have on Indigenous Peoples, families, and communities.
Reconciliation begins with listening, learning, and understanding. It means creating space for Indigenous voices, reflecting on the past, and recognizing the responsibility we all share in building a more respectful and informed future.
Today, and beyond today, we remember, we listen, and we continue to learn.

Last week, our Stilhavn family connected at our Vancouver office for our annual Fall Social, bringing together agents from across Metro Vancouver for an afternoon of conversation, reconnection, and great food.

It was the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet new faces, and share ideas as we head into a busy season. The room was full of energy as agents swapped stories, shared market insights, and strengthened the relationships that make our network so strong.
We were especially excited to welcome Shameless Buns back for the second year in a row.

Their Filipino-inspired menu puts a creative spin on a cuisine shaped by generations of cultural influence, bringing bold flavours and a distinctly local Vancouver energy to every dish. Their signature sandwiches and loaded fries were once again the perfect complement to an afternoon spent together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Shameless Buns for another year of incredible food and hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next Stilhavn Social and another chance to bring our community together.
