📈 Sales Finished Strong in 2024, Building Momentum for 2025!

While 2024 fell short of our initial sales forecast, the year ended on a high note, with sales gaining momentum heading into 2025.

Last year, we expected lower borrowing costs to unlock pent-up demand, but the lagging effects of monetary policy made timing difficult to predict. This year, our 2025 forecast looks similar—lower borrowing costs are still expected to drive homebuyer demand. The key difference? This time, we have real data showing sales picking up, setting the stage for a stronger year ahead.

Issues with Bill 14 highlighted here...

As most of you will already know, the BC Government recently introduced and passed into law Bill 14, which makes several changes to the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA). The bill, which came into effect on July 18, 2024, is intended to protect residential tenants from tenancies terminated in bad faith.
