A little late for International Women’s Day, but still taking the time to acknowledge the incredible woman.

People often say, “Behind every successful man is a strong woman.”

But the truth is, the real ones are the women who stand beside you long before the success ever comes.

A truly strong, classy, loving, and determined woman is the one who stays when life is uncertain, when the looses goes over 7 digits, creditors knocking at your home and when a man is going through the lowest moments of his life.

That's my lady -

She stood beside me during my hardest days, the days when I was searching for loonies and quarters just to put gas in the tank, embarrassed to say, but I thought drinking away will make the problems will go away. Those were real moments in my life, and they will always stay with me.

Those tough times are something I’ll never forget. They keep me grounded, humble, and grateful for everything that has come since.

What I know for 100%, if life ever throws another roadblock my way, she will be the first one standing beside me, believing in me even when I might doubt myself.

I’m not afraid to talk about the darker chapters of my life.

There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, but I truly believe that if you stay positive, keep pushing forward, and never give up, stay humble, believe in yourself better days will always come.

And through every chapter of my life, one thing has never changed…..

When I had nothing, she stayed.

And because she stayed… we built everything.

When it comes to sports, most of the spotlight still goes to men’s teams. Whether it’s on TV, social media, or in the stadiums, men’s sports tend to dominate the attention.

But lately, I’ve noticed a positive shift — women’s sports are finally starting to get the recognition they deserve. I may not be a huge cricket fan, but watching the Indian Women’s Team win the ICC World Cup filled me with immense pride. 🇮🇳🏆

Moments like these matter — they inspire countless young girls to chase their dreams in sports and beyond.

I hope this incredible victory, and this post, can inspire my daughter to keep believing in herself and make her school basketball 🏀 team.
