Private event for Royal Pacific brokerages. They are a brokerage with over 1500 agents, has seen all the ups and downs in Vancouver realestate and yet they remained humble and professional. has known me since 11 years ago when I first started trying to figure out my ways. I see her at pre sale events and she is always with infectious smile, happy and kind. She has seen me grown into the woman that I am today. During the process of putting this event together she messaged me and told me she wanted to support me, and it’s with a handshake, she went full force with the event and organized her agents to come within one week. I admire her and I only hope I can remain this passionate about my career, the relationships I am building through this journey. I hope meet people in your journeys that 10 years later, although they are well established but they would do anything to support you just because they are so proud of the persons you have become.

In the book “Outliers” it talks about a village where people eat bread, fat, red meat all day long but has the lowest (close to none) heart disease, cholesterol problems while the next town where people eat the same thing are suffering from Illnesses. They wonder if it’s their special Italian heritage, if there are magic in their flour… then a doctor and his team moved in, decades of studies later, they’ve learned the reason why people in this particular village is healthier than anyone else in the country (USA)… and the secret is everyone in this town is happy! They give bread to the hungry, they offer shelter to the cold, they offer jobs to those needing to work, the town is one big family. They simply take care of each other.
Gina and I connected when my ex and I donated our wedding to Promise Vancouver and little did we know that was the beginning of this powerful friendship. We are not the type of girls who get together to giggle and gossip instead we bond over food and have meaningful conversations, we genuinely care about each other.
As some may have known, she was verbally attacked in her own city for “causing covid” - she’s not even Chinese. Her natural desire of always giving back to the community and wanting to better the world formed a foundation of this special event, BC’s first dumpling festival.
Unity, may just be the answer to world peace.
She is looking for sponsors and vendors. This event is expecting 10,000-15,000 people with the support of and it is an event that will hopefully through the love of dumplings (who doesn’t like dumplings?) we will see each other as equals and embrace our uniqueness. If you don’t like it doesn’t mean you cannot respect it.

A year ago, I signed a contract to purchase my first pre-sale, life events seem to like to happen around May for me, since I’ve decided to be open about my journey, this account has brought me so much joy when I receive messages from people telling me learning my stories have helped them to live their lives better.. so here we go…
In 2018, on May 20th, I was proposed, after being with my ex for about 3.5 years at that time. A day that I though would have changed my life forever, it did, we never got married and now he is an ex but I am forever grateful for him and the memories we shared because that was the most important part of my journey to self discovery. (He did not know 520 is I love you in mando, it was a coincidence) I am actually not a romantic as many believe so it flew by my head as well.
May, 2020 I started my first Sales Manager role in an iconic city centre, Sun Towers 2 by Belford Properties in Metrotown and this is the beginning of my amazing career transformation.
May 19th, 2021- Signed contract for my first Pre-Sale, officially entered the West Side Community where my family loves.
May 13, Signed a new lease to a new apartment, accepted a subject condition free offer to my condo…
My life in many people’s opinion is fascinating because of the pain in my past in my stories but somehow all I feel is love and bless.
I cherish everyone for exactly how and who they are. I love unconditionally, I laugh with my mouth wide open and I cry really really hard and a lot!
I have a feeling more changes and mile stones are to come, decisions have to be made, hard steps to be walked…

April 28th 2022, we celebrated BakerWest one year anniversary. We picked this day because April 28th 2021 was our first contract written under BakerWest. It took me two weeks to post because I have so much I wanted to say but even the longest essay is not enough to express my complexed feelings. We were asked to use one word to describe last year, although I said “perseverance” at the time and meant it but I truly feel “Family” is the best word to describe us and our lives since the day we all met. Success can be measured in different ways, in my bias opinion, we are the best sales and marketing company within lower mainland because BakerWest is more than a career, we are purpose, we are belonging.. the RealEstates we help to develop and the homes we help to complete, we are the foundations and the futures. We are the rising stars making dreams come true, we write histories and we are always ahead of the Curve.

I waited a week before posting in the new year because I wanted to “walk the walk”. At the end of 2021, the word I had chosen for 2022 was “silence”. I am only going to speak with positive intentions, be mindful of my words and have a presence even when I am silent.
It was always my plan to post on the 8th of January but I was not going to post for the sake of posting.
As I started my daily gratitude morning routine, I asked to be inspired for my first post of this new year. I had a flashback of my only client appreciation dinner and our client said to me “Have three none negotiable standards, cannot have too many, just three”.

I want to list three none negotiable qualities and principles of each category.
I have one for career, one for relationship, and NONE in the myself category.
I seem to have it all together and my life is awesome especially on social media.
While my life is pretty awesome, more of reasons to be grateful for opportunities (challenges) to continue to elevate and no my life is far from awesome sometimes…
This year I am sending out the intention to find “me”.
Only when I have found myself then I can fulfill my purpose.
What are your none negotiable(s)?
What are your intentions for yourself in 2022?
To me, 2022 is a year to pave for our futures.

Leave negativity in 2021.
Leave insecurities, judgements, conflicts and self conflicts, doubts, old-self old cycles in 2021.
Learn:
- How to fulfill your own life?
- How to love and validate yourself and others?
- Live with purpose and intentions that are bettering the world.
- Manifest your perfect life and live your everyday as if.
- Always choose to do the right thing, circumstances do not matter, your integrity does.

And most importantly, learn who you are! Before you can get what you want, be brutally honest with yourself and learn who you are first. Avoidant? Anxious attachment? Patient/ inpatient? Unresolved trauma?
Are you growing?

Do NOT trade temporary satisfaction for long term goals.

This is my view. How lucky am I? I have the smallest place, even smaller than many studios, but I love it. I rented this place starting from Feb 1, 2020 and the deposit, rent and furniture cleaned out my bank account. Covid hit exactly a month and half later, I was in despair. Real estate was really quiet! I cannot tell you how I got through all the hardships other than along this journey I asked myself to “Do the next right thing” and “I believed I will be fine” (eventually) but what about now? Miraculously, people showed up in their best versions for me… I survived with help without really asking. This is not the most inspiring stories out there but I can tell you with proof that your life can change as long as you keep your heart in the right place, be more than positive, be kind, share love and treat others with care. 8 months later I met the president of BakerWest , 12 months later I am part of the best project marketing firm in I am forever grateful. I am grateful that I never gave up. I am grateful for being trusted.

Some days are harder than others, some days I am sick and tired of being positive, strong and when I share my tears with thoughts, it hurts me to hear another person unhappy then I blame myself for not being stronger for not being more patient for not choosing silence. It’s one of those days you know you are “supposed “ to be grateful, but…. You just want to hide under blankets and watch a sad movie. And then… something really sad like loss of a loved one or a parent or a child happen to those you care about… then you realize, I am grateful to be alive! You can be negative, pessimistic or whatever… all those means you are alive. Cherish life and cherish the people around you. Sometimes, as dark as this may sound, there really is no tomorrow. Today, I am grateful to be alive.💙
