A BIG thank you to everyone who joined us at the BC Dumpling Festival Media Event and came out to support us again this year!

We were honoured to welcome politicians, dignitaries, community leaders, media, foodies, sponsors and friends for a delicious preview of the upcoming festival.

A special thank you to our amazing speakers, MLA for Coquitlam-Maillardville Jennifer Blatherwick, Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart, Coquitlam Councillor Teri Towner and Jim Payn from RBC, for joining us and showing your continued support for our festival and community. Thank you also to Port Moody City Councillors Amy Lubik and Kyla Knowles for attending our event.

A heartfelt thank you to the YMCA for sponsoring the beautiful event space and providing such a wonderful setting for our celebration!

Today was a day I’m incredibly proud of.

We officially launched our 5th children’s book, You Belong, Bao!, through the Asian Arts & Culture Society. What started as an idea to help children feel seen, valued, and included has grown into a collection of stories that are now reaching families and classrooms across Metro Vancouver.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey is being able to donate these books to school districts throughout Metro Vancouver, helping spark conversations about kindness, diversity, inclusion, and belonging with the next generation.

A huge thank you to our generous book sponsors, RBC and Jukebox, for believing in this vision and helping bring these stories to life. Your support has made a lasting impact. Thank you also to Bettie Allard YMCA for hosting us in your beautiful space.

I’m also so grateful for Kirstin Hepburn, whose incredible talent as both writer and illustrator has helped turn these ideas into beautiful books that children truly connect with. It’s such a privilege to have her on our team.

It’s amazing to think we’ve now published five books, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next. Every story is another opportunity to make a child feel like they belong. ❤️📚

Stopped by Morrison Grove in Kelowna this week to check out the latest construction progress, and it’s exciting to see this boutique community really starting to come to life.

Walking through the homes, I was impressed by the thoughtful design and attention to detail. The soaring 10 foot ceilings create an incredible sense of space, the oversized doors make every room feel grand, and the corner homes offer beautiful natural light along with stunning views of the surrounding neighbourhood and mountains.

The location is another standout. Nestled in the heart of South Pandosy, you’re just minutes from Okanagan Lake, downtown Kelowna, amazing restaurants, local cafés, parks, and everything that makes this one of the city’s most sought after communities.

As someone who loves seeing quality projects evolve from the ground up, it’s rewarding to watch Morrison Grove take shape. I can’t wait to see these homes completed later this year and welcome new homeowners to this incredible community.

Spent a few days enjoying everything I love about Kelowna. 💛

It was so nice to stop by the Oakwyn Realty Okanagan office, spend time walking around downtown with my little one, and of course, go cherry picking. 🍒

Every time I’m here, I’m reminded why so many people fall in love with this city. The slower pace, beautiful scenery, and incredible lifestyle make it such a special place. Feeling grateful for these little moments and always excited to spend time in a community I love.
