How long does selling actually take?

Getting the house ready is the part you control, and it usually runs a week or two, unless you find something behind the washing machine that you would rather not have found.

Time on the market is the part nobody can honestly promise, because it depends on your price measured against every other house a buyer walks through that same weekend.

Closing takes another four to six weeks after that.

For future improvements, ask another question: Is the project proposed, approved, funded, or already under construction? Those stages mean different things.
