🏠 Your home is the place you should feel most comfortable.

🖼️ You can make it so by incorporating your creative side into the décor. Try one or all of the following ideas to make your house a home.

5 Ways To Incorporate Your Creative Side Into Your Décor

1. Decorate with seasonal items. Hang skis and other winter items from the ceiling for a unique décor idea. Since a lot of this stuff is used outdoors, there’s no need to worry about interim storage.

2. Display your talents. Not only will you enjoy making the decorations, your guests will love the fact that your home is so full of exciting things to look at.

3. Tell a story with your collections. What kind of things do you like to collect? Coffee mugs? Stamps perhaps? What about books? Almost anything can be a collectible with a story.

4. Display your tools in a handy fashion. If you use specific tools for your hobby, keep them just an arm’s length away by hanging them where you use them most.

5. Decorate according to emotion decorate with the things you love based on how they make you feel. For instance, if that lovely shell you picked up on the beach last summer calms your mind, place it on your bedside table.

🖥️ Are you working from home lately? Maybe your kids are learning from home.

🛋️ Here are several organizational tips to help you create the best home office experience.

1. Location Is Key
You don’t need a lot of space – a closet or even just a section of a room is enough to create the perfect office space.

2. Define Your Office Boundaries
Whether it’s an actual door and walls or a partition or curtain, outline your workspace so that your brain – and anyone else in the household – know that when you’re within those boundaries, you’re hard at work.

3. Ensure Your Comfort
Invest in ergonomic furniture that’s not only comfortable but durable also. Working from home affords you many opportunities for comfort, so furnish your office accordingly.

4. Follow Work Rules
Follow certain rules to be as productive and as efficient as possible while working.
Keep non-work activities outside the office
Keep your desk area clean and organized as clutter leads to chaos and stress
Begin your day with a plan

5. Set Working Hours
Although working from home affords flexibility, you should still keep regular hours to help you stay focused and on task.

6. Everything In Its Place
An organized office is a productive office, so do what you can to put things where they belong when you’re done with them.

7. Remember To Take A Break
Be sure to take time for breaks throughout the day and find ways to rest and relax after the workday is over.

💎 If you’re looking for ways to add a luxurious touch to your home, the following ideas may help.

1. Remodel The Bathroom
Adding features like recessed lighting and modern tiling and flooring allows you to add a real sense of luxury.

2. Add Plants
Try adding small plants in small spaces and large plants that take up entire corners.

3. Go Neutral
For a calming, modern look, choose a neutral color for the walls.

4. Embrace Temporary Wallpaper
Temporary wallpaper is a thing now, and if you’re the type that gets bored easily, it might be just what you need.

5. Reupholster The Furniture
Rather than go out and buy new furniture to fit your luxurious visions, try reupholstering the old pieces instead.

6. Add High-end Accents
Look for ways to incorporate marble, antique gold, and solid wood throughout your home and swap out modern ornaments for vintage ones.

🛏️ Your mattress is vital to the quality of your sleep. If it isn’t the right one for you, it can lead to sleepless nights and daily aches and pains.

👉 Here’s how to choose the right mattress for you.

1. Get Your Doctor’s Advice
He or she can give you advice as to which features you should look for in a mattress.

2. Do Your Homework
Take the time to visit websites to read reviews of specific mattresses to find out what real people have to say.

3. Test The Mattress Before You Buy
Lie down on the mattress and lay in your normal position for at least 10 minutes. If you'll be sleeping with a partner, have them lay with you.

4. Consider The Rest Of The Bed
If you’re buying an adjustable bed, don’t take for granted that the head raises to a sitting position just because it says it does.

🔥 Not sure how to keep your fireplace looking and working well?

➡️ Here’s a step-by-step guide to cleaning it.

Step 1: Don Protective Gear
Be sure you wear gloves and protective eyewear while you clean. Also, cover the hearth with a drop cloth or plastic tarp.

Step 2: Remove Logs And Ashes
Remove any unburned logs and use a dustpan to scoop out the ashes.

Step 3: Sweep And Vacuum
Sweep out the inside of the fireplace and then use your vacuum with a soft brush attachment to get all the ashes.

Step 4: Mix The Cleaning Solution
You can try a solution of warm water and trisodium phosphate, baking soda, and detergent, cream of tartar, or plain water and vinegar.

Step 5: Scrub The Fireplace
Starting at the top of the fireplace and working your way down, dip the scrub brush in the cleaning solution and begin scrubbing the brick. Use small, circular motions to loosen soot and ash.
