First day of vacation in Europe. Arrived this morning after huge delays at Pearson yesterday. But first couple of hours in Lisboa was absolutely amazing. But now time to catch up on our sleep.

Staying at a boutique hotel Casual Belle Epoque which I highly recommend - service has been amazing they even provided dog bed, bowls and doggie food. Plus hotel is perfectly located very close to many attractions and perty much walking distance to everything.

📉 GTA Real Estate 2025: A Market Reset, Not a Meltdown

2025 was a year of adjustment for the Greater Toronto Area housing market. Sales slowed as economic uncertainty shook confidence, but inventory stayed high — and that gave buyers leverage. Prices came down, negotiations reopened, and affordability finally improved and will likely continue to improve in 2026.

🔑 In December 2025:
• Home sales were down 13.9% compared to December 2024
• New listings climbed 1.8%
• Average price dropped 5.1% to $1,006,735

December told a similar story — softer sales, more choice, and prices still under pressure.

Improved affordability has set the stage for recovery. Once confidence in the economy and job market returns, pent-up demand won’t stay on the sidelines.

🏡 **GTA October 2025 Market Update**

The fall market continues to show a shift — homes took an average of **31 days to sell**, up **14.8%** from last year. 📈
Average sale prices are **down 7.2%**, and overall sales slipped **9.5%**, while **inventory climbed 17.2%**.
