Fact: At least 15 B.C. municipalities now have bylaws requiring that all new multi-unit residential buildings are constructed to pre-wire for electric vehicle charging in parking stalls.

- Clean your dryer's lint filter after each use
- Test and replace the batteries in your smoke alarms annually
- Clean your microwave regularly

Kitchen garburators/disposal systems are a fantastic convenience but they can easily become clogged and emit unpleasant odours.

We recommend cleaning your garburator once a month to keep them free of buildup.

Here's our DIY tip:

Slice a lemon into small pieces and place them in an ice cube tray. Pour vinegar to fill, freeze them and then run through the garburator.

The vinegar will tackle any build-up and the lemon will leave you with a fresh scent!
