Fairly balanced market conditions presently but I’m feeling bullish about 2024. High ratio and insured conventional five-year mortgage interest rates recently declined to just below 5%. Government backed mortgages are tied to bond yields which have been tumbling to reckon with slowing inflation. Calls into the office since Christmas have been very promising and with Bank of Canada rates predicted to begin declining in Q2 (or sooner), Buyer confidence will return. Right now is a great time to buy and this year will be a great time to sell. If you’re thinking about either, please connect, always happy to share my experience and knowledge.
