I MEET A LOT OF SPOILED, UNGRATEFUL BRATS IN THIS BUSINESS!!

One time, years ago, I had a client call off a million dollar purchase, all because their 13-year old daughter had a tantrum because she felt her private ensuite bathroom wasn't "big enough"..🙃
.. Luckily, this was definitely NOT one of those times. :)

My amazing client Gemma hired me to find her a house in a prime Port Colborne neighbourhood. We searched for 7 long months, saw tons of houses, but finally! We found it. She wanted to keep it secret from her son until it was OFFICIALLY SOLD.

When we pulled up to our showing, she finally surprised him with the good news in their car. I could hear the muffled screeches of pure joy coming from this kid. He kept hugging her as they walked the property - and they weren't those begrudging teenager hugs - they were hugs of pure and utter happiness.

I felt like that scene in the Grinch where his cold black heart warmed up and came alive. I've learned to be sort of emotionally blunted in this business - but I had to turn away because I kept getting emotional seeing such gratitude come from him.
