WEEKEND WANDERING has finally returned for the summer just a little late due to some well deserved holidays!!! ☀️

Today I had the pleasure of finally visiting The Watering Can in Vineland!! 💐 This is much more than a garden centre—it’s a destination. Set in a stunning greenhouse-inspired space, it offers an incredible selection of tropical plants, houseplants, flowers, succulents, seasonal décor, unique gifts, and garden accessories. What makes it truly special is its charming café and bakery, where you can enjoy coffee, lunch, and fresh pastries surrounded by lush greenery. 🌿

With beautiful displays that change throughout the year, workshops, and an atmosphere that feels like a botanical escape, it’s one of Niagara’s most unique shopping experiences!!

June Market Recap 🏡

After one of the slowest months on record in May, June brought some signs of stability across the market, with home sales activity increasing 0.7% compared to June 2025 across the region.

Several markets, including Cambridge, Burlington, Hamilton, Mississauga, and Norfolk County, saw stronger sales activity compared to the broader market. While buyer activity showed some improvement, pricing remained under pressure, with the Home Price Index (HPI) declining year-over-year across all areas and decreasing month-over-month in most markets.

New listings also eased in many areas compared to both the previous month and last year, which is helping to influence overall inventory levels and months of supply. As we move through the summer market, buyers continue to benefit from more selection, while sellers need to be strategic with pricing and presentation to stand out. 🏡

Look at this stunning view from the 19th floor, overlooking some fantastic Waterloo landmarks. 🌎

What was important here was the view, and having a balcony to enjoy that view from- and when this one came up we jumped on it!!

Congratulations to my buyer, who is making a great move into a building with a pool, party room, social events and is still walking distance to the parts of Uptown Waterloo she loves! 🥂

One of the most meaningful parts of this business is when someone is referred to me by their family members who have hired me previously — there’s a lot of trust in that, and I never take it lightly.

This client wanted the sale to feel low pressure and manageable, without all the stress that can come with the moving parts of selling a home. She worked incredibly hard getting the house ready, the feedback from showings was amazing, and the interest came quickly.

The best part? We were able to accept an offer conditional on the sale of the buyer’s home, and firm everything up just over 2 weeks later. A smooth, successful sale with the right strategy, preparation, and teamwork from start to finish. 🏡
