I’ve been pretty quiet on here during this wild summer! Here's your September update - in a nutshell, it's still an unbelievably hot market. The number of sales up 41.6% vs last year, and average prices are up 17.5% (detached homes - +25%!!).

That being said, many people will ask it that means it’s a bad time to buy real estate- the majority of homes are still selling in multiple offers as there is still an overwhelming shortage of listings. This is not likely to change in our area in the coming years... real estate has been on an almost always steady rise over the past 25 years, with years of marginal decline are followed by substantial increase.

Happy New Year!
2020 brings a year of both “yes” and “no.”

A year of saying yes to things that bring happiness to myself and those close to me. A year of saying yes to opportunities that may scare me but should be seized anyway. A year of saying yes to things that inspire me, yes to people I want to work with, and yes to things that help me grow!

A year of saying no to things that no longer serve me, excite me or bring me happiness.

A year of setting boundaries, intentions and huge goals!

I can’t wait to help so many people reach their real estate dreams this year!

Those of you that know me well know I come from a pretty big family. 3 brothers, countless cousins, kids of friends etc.... I truly believe that the fun filled but also somewhat (or a lot) competitive atmosphere has shaped a lot of who I am today, especially in my business! Add a few years of mucking stalls, teaching countless riding lessons and eating the dirt a few times.... your childhood really does shape you!

Fast forward almost 30 years later and to kick off the New Year I am working through a real estate course that included an assignment and discovery exercise to uncover “My Realtor Personality Type.”

It turns out I fit into two categories.....
A “Winner” 🏆 and a “giver!” 🎁

If you know me, that isn't a surprise at all.

I truly love supporting others, negotiating the best outcome (AKA getting my way- for my clients!! hellllllo only daughter in the family! 🙋‍♀️) and most of all, meeting my clients needs by finding the perfect home or investment.

I never stop listening to my clients and what they really need or want, I never stop working hard for their best interests and best outcome and I never waiver in my confidence despite a sometimes difficult situation.

All because I'm a competitive yet compassionate Winner-Giver type!

It’s all apart of this course I'm taking (always be learning, right?)... and I've already realized a couple things I need to probably apologize to my (fur) family for too! Some late nights, dinners (and rides and walks) missed.... but I’m very lucky to be able to do what I do with the best people around me!

Because I love helping my clients win so much, I'm going to be a little obsessive about my work at times. I'm going to care that much more about my clients! I’m going to make sure your experience is extra special, where you feel listened to, supported and of course at the end of it all, A WINNER! 🏆🥇

And I hope that helps my clients know that they are in the right hands.
I will always have their best interests in mind and go to work to win, because that's just who I am.
