Our hearts are with everyone affected by the Quilpituk Creek wildfire.

Today, our focus remains on the safety of our guests, homeowners, staff, and the entire La Casa community following the evacuation order.

We are incredibly grateful to the firefighters, BC Wildfire Service, RCMP, BC Hydro crews, emergency personnel, and everyone working tirelessly to protect our community under incredibly difficult conditions.

We also want to thank our guests and homeowners for their patience, understanding, and kindness as we work through cancellations, refunds, and the many challenges that come with an emergency of this scale.

We’ll continue to provide updates directly to affected guests and owners as more information becomes available. Until then, please stay safe and follow all directions from emergency officials.

Busy week over here at La Co-Host!

Between onboarding new vacation rentals and supporting our current cottages, it’s been all hands on deck. From listing setup and optimization to guest experience, maintenance coordination, and those last-minute details that make all the difference — we’re in full summer mode.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, bonus moms, moms-in-law, grandmas, and mother figures out there🩶

Many people know me as the face behind La Co-Host, but behind the business I'm also a busy mom and bonus mom who's balancing family life alongside the busy vacation rental season.

This job often means working weekends, holidays, late nights, and answering messages while sitting at hockey rinks, school events, or in the car between cleans and check-ins. But at the heart of it all, family will always come first.
Today I'm feeling extra grateful for these five incredible humans and the beautiful chaos that comes with building both a business and a blended family.
