We were happy to have been asked by the client and Eurohouse to work on this project. This site of over 2.5 acres started as two lots with irregular topography that sloped to the street. Most was dark and largely unusable. Now totally transformed, raised and levelled and with over 50 trees planted with heights of 20-35’ including a cherry tree lined driveway, and designated Xmas tree, we have established a home that exudes a feeling of maturity and belonging. Only recently completed, it feels like an original member of an established neighbourhood.

Welcome to 3480 Rockview Place: This project was a challenging lot of undulating mountain side. Large rocky outcrops and major power lines that dominated the site. “How do you over come that?”, we were asked? This contemporary home now sits atop the rock with no power lines in sight, spectacular views of the harbour and downtown Vancouver and floor plan easy to live with. The house is light, bright and airy yet still provides a sense of comfort and privacy. Here’s a recently finished home in the exclusive Shaunghnessy area of Vancouver. We are now working on the home next door. Together they will make a beautiful addition to the streetscape.The homes are approx 6000sf above ground with another 3000sf below but they look modest and well proportioned on the property. The rear yards contain 3 car garaging, a pool and cabana with a fireplace and pergola dining area, making for a year round yard that’s stylish and practical. Here’s a contemporary house we having been working boarding not one but two creeks. That meant a site with a number issues including the ability to manipulate the grade. So the new house had it fit not only the site but the conditions imposed by laws and creek riparian restrictions. This house is also for a sport oriented owner with a two story basket ball court off the basement incorporating a gym, spa change room covered hot tub and lap pool, indoor outdoor bar/ summer kitchen, two storey great room with spectacular view to the creeks. Westhill was inspired by Mediterranean Art Deco style and although faithfully represented it a comfortable and rich appeal and now becomes a signature home at an arrival to Vancouver’s prestigious British Properties. As a double corner lot with sloping topography view and privacy were at odds with each other. Ultimately the plans layout works well. The most important rooms have the best views and the yard though visible allows some privacy for the owner. 10’ ceilings on the main add to overall impression of comfortable grandeur.
