JANUARY MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

While the Metro Vancouver market ended 2023 in balanced market territory, conditions in January began shifting back in favour of sellers as the pace of newly listed properties did not keep up with the volume of home sales.

Here’s a little breakdown:

- January sales were up 38.5% from the same month last year
- There were 14.5% more homes listed than the previous year
- The benchmark price for a home in Metro Vancouver was $1,161,300

- December sales were down 10.3% from the 10-year average for the month.
- There were 7.5% fewer homes listed than the previous year.
- The benchmark price for a home in Metro Vancouver was $1,168,700
