Can you back out of an accepted offer as a buyer? đź‘€

Short answer: YES… but there’s a catch.

This is called the Home Buyer Rescission Period, which allows you 3 business days to rescind your offer after it is accepted. If you choose to walk away during that time, there’s a penalty of 0.25% of the purchase price paid to the seller.

After those 3 days? You’re committed and moving forward with the deal.
