July 2026 | Whistler Market Stats

July brought 16 sales across 44 new listings, with the strongest sales-to-new-listing activity in Townhomes, where 4 sales came from 7 new listings.

Chalets continued to command the highest average sale price at $3.31M, while Phase 1 Townhome properties averaged $2.19M and Residential Townhomes averaged $1.38M.

Days on market varied significantly — from just 32 days for Townhomes to 148 days for Chalets — showing just how differently each segment of the market is moving.

Overall, July’s numbers point to a market where pricing, property type and positioning matter more than ever.

Whistler Market Update – May 2026 vs. May 2025 🌷

Overall, the Whistler market saw fewer sales and slightly lower inventory in May 2026 compared to May 2025. Total sales decreased from 34 to 28, while new listings declined from 69 to 65.
Chalets recorded a modest increase in sales (7 vs. 6) despite fewer new listings (18 vs. 27).

Townhouse Phase 1 sales eased (11 vs. 14) and inventory dropped significantly (6 vs. 13 new listings).

Residential Townhouses saw improved activity with 2 sales and 6 new listings, compared to 0 sales and 10 new listings in 2025.

Condo Phase 1 sales slipped slightly (4 vs. 5) with fewer new listings (11 vs. 13).

Condo Phase 2 had the strongest year-over-year improvement, with sales doubling (4 vs. 2) and new listings rising substantially (18 vs. 3).

Vacant Land remained inactive with no sales, while new listings increased (6 vs. 3).

Despite mixed sales activity, sellers continued to achieve approximately 94%–97% of asking price, reflecting a stable market overall.
