We are so excited to share our place again with tourists and other Whistler lovers. We so enjoy hosting others who help us afford and enjoy our nice condo. Here’s to a great ski season coming our way!

Beware of "Whistler Pricing". Opening day is planned for November 22 and then Powder Dream starts again to live up to its name. If ski season and Powder Dream are of interest to anyone, let us know. If you come for more than a few days, likely you'll buy and benefit from a multi-day lift ticket package. If you plan to mix it up and only ski a couple of days, the daily rate is too crazy to consider ($250+)

In that case, our four season passes allow us a few discount days each for guests. While our condo can certainly be a huge break on accommodations plus allow you to make some of your own meals, don't overpay for the skiing.

The've made the season passes a "no brainer" with what Vale Resorts' did to the daily rates. We also like not being pressured into cramming all the skiing into a pricy $250+ day. Sleep a bit more, let the base lift crowds disperse onto two large mountains (the largest ski area in North America) and just upload later with no lineups.

Come try the Mega Day challenge as the season winds down and lines are short. We are reducing our guest rates to stay if interested. For off ski season, we provide standup paddle boards that are lovely on Nita Lake or others.

If you are at all thinking of Whistler this season, now is the time. Because we are so new, our booking calendar still has some good options. We are so excited to welcome our first guest this week and will enjoy our place for four days before, Yikes!, a total stranger checks in through Airbnb.

We went very conservative with Airbnb, because opening up your life and you home to people you don't know is something we still need to get used to. You may notice, checking our place out on Airbnb, likely won't let you book unless your a seasoned Airbnb client with a spotless record. We asked for that option for now. Rest assured, if you are my friend (or friend of a friend), there is no restriction, so please reach out to us directly.

We have three Airbnb guests booked and that "restriction" will be going away soon. As we get more comfy with the idea and the booking system opens up to all, the guess is that the calendar will fill up.

We will be mapping out our own winter spring and blocking dates for us. I really hope I can also block more dates for friends as well.

So, if you're thinking about coming to Whistler, keep checking back on Airbnb for the dates you're thinking can still work for you and let us know as soon as you've made a decision.

Yes, if doing some work remotely is part of an unfortunate reality to you coming to Whistler, our WIFI speed is rated high for those zoom meetings in the condo and this quiet desk corner with a spectacular mountain view also connects to ethernet.

We've listed our vacation property on Airbnb, so not just friends but perhaps some strangers will be reaching out to us. Scary!

I plan to use Airbnb in this way, but also a "one place" to keep track of my calendar of bookings. I encourage you, in your planning to keep looking at our Airbnb calendar. Don't book there, but rather reach out to us directly. So far, some dates have been blocked by us for our own use and convenience. So if something doesn't quite work, ask us and I might be able to shift something around. Happy planning everyone!
