It’s WORLD CUP WEEKEND in Whistler! 🇨🇦

The WHOOP UCI Downhill World Cup officially gets underway today for the very first time in Whistler, and we couldn’t be more excited to have both Lucas and Tegan lining up alongside the fastest downhill racers in the world, right here on their home mountain. ❤️

After so many years of riding and racing in Whistler, it’s pretty incredible to see a World Cup come to our hometown and even more special for our family to have two of our boys on the start list!

There’s also something pretty special about the track they’ll be racing. 1199 was built in honour of Canadian downhill legend Stevie Smith, with the name representing the 1,199 World Cup points Stevie earned when he won the 2013 UCI Downhill World Cup overall title, the first Canadian ever to do so. 🇨🇦

Stevie had such an incredible impact on downhill racing in Canada, and now some of the best riders in the world will race Whistler’s first World Cup on a track that carries his legacy. Pretty special. ❤️
