Definitely one for the design inspiration folder. There’s something so striking about a home that feels completely connected to its surroundings.

Amani, in Boulder, Colorado, does exactly that - natural stone, warm wood, steel and expansive glass create a home that feels refined, but still very much part of the landscape.

Mid-August through early September is when the pre-winter market starts to pick up.

Summer is beginning to wind down, but Whistler is still busy. At the same time, buyers start looking ahead to ski season, whether they’re searching for a second home, an investment property, or simply hoping to have a place secured before winter arrives.

Congratulations, Hugh!

I have to say, you’ve made this journey so easy. For me, three kids done and one to go.

When I look back at these photos, I think about everything we were facing at the time coming out of COVID, building our house, and feeling like every step was an uphill climb. Yet here we are.

I couldn’t be more proud of the person you are! Your self-awareness, strong work ethic, kind smile, and loving heart makes me incredibly proud to be your mom. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to share this road trip of life with you.

It has been such an honor to share this journey with you alongside Sophie, Louise, and Jake. We’ve had our share of “family struggles” and chaos. Somehow, we have always held each other tight and overcome it all. We always managed to find our way back to laughter usually by embracing our own particular of nuttiness and I wouldn’t change a thing for every moment.

Congratulations, Hugh. What a privilege it has been to watch you become the remarkable young man you are today. ❤️
