Big News from Whistler this today!! New and faster lifts, and also Creekside Bike Park extension!! Whistler just keeps getting better :)

Vail Resorts invests in the heart of Whistler Blackcomb. Historic investment of $66 million (USD $52 million) for the 2018.19 season will feature a new Blackcomb Gondola and two new lifts, cutting wait times at the core of each mountain.

Whistler is opening a week early! Usually they open a day or two early but a week!? That's the start of an epic winter!!! ⛷🎿🏂❄️☃️

WHISTLER MOUNTAIN TO OPEN NOV. 17.
Whistler Blackcomb will open 20 runs and five lifts on Friday, Nov. 17. About 46 centimetres of fresh snow has fallen in the last 48 hours and another 50 are expected by Friday.
