It’s called the long goodbye. 😢

Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. I wouldn't wish Dementia or Alzheimer's on anyone. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they lose their memory and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They forget how to do the most basic of tasks, from dressing to brushing teeth or even feeding themselves. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move & unable to eat or drink.
