As I sit here reflecting tonight, I realize more than ever that being a mom is the hardest and most beautiful role I will ever have in my life. It’s exhausting, emotional, overwhelming at times… but also the greatest blessing God could have ever given me.
Today especially, my heart is so full thinking about my own mom. I truly thank God for her every single day. She is my confidant, my best friend, my safe place, and without a doubt one of the strongest and smartest women I know. Her strength, perseverance, unconditional love, and the way she always kept going no matter what are things I admire deeply and carry with me every day as I raise my own children. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her.
And my kids… they are my whole heart. They have taught me more about love, sacrifice, patience, and purpose than anything else ever could. I’m far from a perfect mom, but every single day I try my best, and I pray God gives me the strength, wisdom, and guidance to continue raising them with love, kindness, and a good heart.
Motherhood is not easy, but what a privilege it is to love someone this deeply.
To all the moms out there — the strong ones, the tired ones, the single moms, the moms doing their best quietly every day — I hope today reminded you how special and appreciated you truly are. ❤️💗
