Low Carbon Heating Incentive Scheme

Did you know that if you have a fossil fuel heating system you can now apply to the Government of Jersey for up to £5,000 match funding towards a low carbon alternative?

Technologies included are air source heat pumps, electric flow boilers, electric storage and panel radiators and underfloor heating.

Where a low carbon heating system is being installed, funding for energy efficiency improvements can also be included within applications.

The incentive scheme is now open to both owner-occupiers and landlords. Landlords can access funding for up to five properties.

£100 for 1&2 bedroom homes
£150 for 3+ bedroom homes

• the Government of Jersey would like to contact applicants in the future to monitor the success of the scheme and gather feedback

• you may request deletion of your contact information at any time. Should you do so, you will not be contacted again

• the Government of Jersey is the owner of the Energy Performance Certificate resulting from the energy audit and will automatically be sent a copy of this document by Quidos, the Scheme Operator. This document does not contain your contact details. This will be retained against the property’s records by the Growth, Housing and Environment Department and the Strategic Policy, Planning and Performance Department and will be made available to any future owner of the property on request

• the information contained within the Energy Performance Certificate may be used by the Growth, Housing and Environment Department and the Strategic Policy, Planning and Performance Department for the purposes of research and reporting on energy efficiency and policy development

• should you apply for the low carbon heating incentive and/or other related schemes in the future, the information contained within the Energy Performance Certificate may be used by the Strategic Policy, Planning and Performance Department and shared with organisations acting as Scheme Administrator and managing the Contractor Quality Scheme.
