Looking for a new hike in Switzerland? The Tour des Mouverans is a great option for for a challenge. You can either tackle it in sections or all at once in 4 to 5 days.
It is very easy to get to from Chalet Balthazar. Tatty set off in the afternoon and got up to Plan Névé (2262m) in time for supper at the mountain hut. She spent a few blissful days trekking and was happy to return for a hot bath!

The tour is open till early October for those wanting a spot of autumnal hiking!

Did you know dogs are welcome at Chalet Balthazar …. as long as they are well behaved! We understand that dogs are part of the family and sometimes it just isn’t an option to leave them behind.

Chalet Balthazar 3 has a garden and there are so many walks from the front door. We can help suggest walks, vets and even doggie daycare. Here’s the latest addition to the Chalet Balthazar Team - Simba! 💛🐾
